It does not imply that we do not organize or plan your visit, its just that its very flexible. You can choose any package or club one or more to have a wonderful time at Lansdowne. Even though, with decades of experience in hospitality industry, we still learn everyday from our guests and therefore, always welcome your suggestions and comments. 1 - Weekend Hideout : Best for people living in close proximity like Delhi, NCR. The drive to Lansdowne will be the best drive of your life. The route goes through small hamlets and thickly forested countryside roads. The first view of Lansdowne is breathtaking. Lansdowne is set admits lovely surroundings - tall oaks and blue pines raise like spires off the mountainside. The forests are lovely, dark and deep, just ideal for those long walks and a rejuvenating experience.

2- Camps for Students : Shah also organizes camps for students from Doon, Delhi and other places are his regular clients. Our other love was organic farming. Shah's family owns 26 acres of jungle land adjoining Corbett Park. We decided to turn its major portion into orchards and have grown fruit trees and vegetables in the orchards.

3 - Philosopher's Choice : Tiny Lansdowne is one of the quietest hill station in India. The town is as picturesque as you were led to hope for by the drive up the road from Kotdwar- past a mountain stream so clear you can see the pebbles on its bed from your car window - far up the mountainside. The stage is all set for philosophical minds. Fairydale Resort has seen many writers.

4 - Family Holidays : Children when they grow up, recall memories when their parents once used to take them out on holiday. They too want to gift and return them the same happiness and a different way. We offer complete accommodation for such Family Holidays and get together.

5 - Corporate Get- Together : A large number of corporate groups do come and relish their time at Fairydale , Lansdowne. The forests are lovely, dark and deep, just ideal for those long walks and a rejuvenating experience. In spite of being so close to Delhi, it surprisingly, does not have traffic on the road leading to Lansdowne.

6 - Honeymooners Paradise : Everybody wants a perfect honeymoon. So to get everything right the first time, it is important that you choose a right destination. It is for sure, that your stay at Fairydale, Lansdowne you will return with a bag, full of sweet memories.

Other Activities : The other activities involves putting Salpine Jungle Camp (the name Salpine is derived from the Sal and Pine trees that grow on the land) for school students. Group of 30 to 35 students or even corporate crowd come to these camps. Besides learning to live in the wild, we also teach them organic farming. ( see more on Salpine Camps - What's New section ) Every person who comes to these camps plants a tree and pays of its upkeep. We have managed to plant more than 5000 fruit trees of mangoes, guavas, lemon, apples, berries - strawberry, raspberry and gooseberry and spices like ilaichi, tejpatta, dalchinni. These trees can grow here because the orchards spread from 2500 ft to 4500 ft. above sea level.
